Security of the nationwide anniversary celebrations: Home Minister
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said that all the preparations have been made by the law enforcement agencies to avoid any incidents in the festival of the year; security is guaranteed not only in Dhaka, but also throughout the country.

On Friday afternoon, the Home Minister observed the safety measures of Ramna Batamul area. He said these things during this time.

He said: There is no risk in the celebration of the festival. We are ready to ensure security. We are on the alert as if there were no incidents.

The Home Minister said: The Mangal procession is now internationally acclaimed. Many foreigners can participate here tomorrow. Therefore, all the measures have to be taken to ensure security there.

"To ensure safety of Pahela Baishakh, all the police and all the agencies including Dog Squad, Bomb Disposal Unit, Swat will be engaged. The whole area was brought under CCTV cameras. All preparations have been made to avoid any disruption. If there is any accident, who will do it, who will prepare it too, said Asaduzzaman Khanan Kamal.
