Thoughts on my newest 3D printer, and also the smaller one

Well, it looks like the 3D printer (ET4) I recently bought has a more involved process or setting up:

. I did expect this of course, but it hammers home the point that I have to wait a little while so I have somewhere to set it up for a while, and not move it unless absolutely required! Compared to my smaller 3D printer (X1), the ET4 supports both PLA and ABS, but the website also mentioned HIPS as well, whereas the X1 only supports PLA it seems.

Naturally, I'll likely deploy the X1 first as it takes up less space, is a lot more portable, and easier to set up:

. The catch with the smaller one is that it can only print 100mm^3, whereas the ET4 does a little over 2x the size for each, though I'm glad I have it, as a "proper" 3D printer is perfect for future projects I have planned, plus 3D printing is very much the future, so I have to learn about it! The X1 is also good enough as a portable 3D printer when I either want to show one off, or I need to be somewhere to print on-site (which is rare, but could happen), which means that I should also put the slicing software on my "work" and mini laptops. The initial plan was also to put it on my new Mini PC (which I'll still do), but now that I know the slicing software is also available on Linux, I can put it on my main rigs too! Having it on multiple systems also means that if I need to do 3D printing when my main rig is out of commission (as it will be soon for upgrades and moving to a new case), I can still do so!

In any case, space issues aside, I feel like experimenting with my 3D printers will enable me to learn some interesting things, as well as being able to 3D print certain things, without needing to buy them from someone else; I can just purchase the model instead, and print them at home, thus saving on delivery costs! Of course, right now, I have no idea what to print with them (not that I have any space to set them up atm), but I knew I'd eventually need them, and getting the discounts for them anytime in the future was not guaranteed, especially the ET4, which had a 50% discount (as did the X1), but also had a £40 discount, as well as the No-Rush Delivery, and also the 2% cashback on top, which means I got an outstanding deal for this, and I may not see that again anytime soon, so it was important that I got them when I did so it doesn't cost me more in the future!
