Day 38 #365grateful

in #365grateful6 years ago (edited)

A hectic morning and a Guasa session for today! Hi everyone! For these past few days, with more piles of work being thrown at me, the old me would be depressed and angry at everything (to be more accurate, the old me would be showing reactions to everything )... but not anymore. The new me is having a great control on my reaction to my situations.

Have you guys ever heard of,

Life is 10% of what happened to you and 90% of how you react to it

I believe in this 100%. If you can better manage your reactions to everything, then you will have a better life. Everything will be better.

Teaching children in class, not just one class, but 3 classes. Not just teaching but became an emcee for the school's event. Not just teaching and emceeing, but also doing health report. I was literally juggling tons of work simultaneously.

So despite the mountain piles of work being thrown to me, I had better control on my reactions. I even have a guasa therapy appointment today!

Guasa

Guasa is an ancient chinese massage that uses a scraping board to scrap the body. Guasa will be able to give comfort to those who are experiencing discomfort with their bodies. For those who are experiencing insomnia, guasa will be able to make you sleep through the night. There are lots of benefits of guasa therapy. And I shall write another post about guasa.

Today I was able to control how i react to everything around me and also I get to meet new client through Guasa Therapy.

I hope everyone have an amazing day, cheers!

I have never tried guasa before.. heard about it... it will be great if you can add more photos and details, like the pricing, the types of guasa services, the before and after effects, the benefits of guasa or story from your friends or customers about it.:)

If you are not ticklish you should be fine. lol. It's one of the traditional ways for detoxing.

I know close to nothing about detoxing... massage is ticklish for me.. haha

Oh yes, sure thing @orangila! I would definitely do a special post for guasa. Wait for it! 😍

Everybody needs to try guasa at least for once in their life! I was initially curious just like you. And I decided that I wanted to try guasa 😁😁😁

Oooo, Guasa Therapy is really the shizz in KK eh? Almost every KK person I met did Guasa before.

You're Guasa was serious though. Especially on your shoulder, too much stress at work is it?

Really @awesomianist ? I have no idea about guasa being a shizz in KK. Hahahahah this is not mine. It's a picture of my client. But guasa is really good. It will make you feel good right after. You will even get a good night sleep 😁

@deborahneils Owh... you mean... You perform guasa? Yea my mom does Guasa for me and it's the best thing when i'm having a fever.

Agree on the 10% consequence and 90% choice made :) life is about the choices we made rather living with the consequence. There’s always a choice in hand and it is up to us whether we are bold enough to execute.

Seemed you are enjoying the therapy.

Really proud of your choice to choose a much positive reaction despite of tons of stress especially for today since you have to juggle with so many things at a time.

I personally have been a little under on my EQ and there were a few times my boiling point almost over flowed, but all because when I missed my morning session of choice and realisation that just what you have mentioned (the 90%)

When I finally chose to just set aside time (even during driving) in my mind those choose on how I react 90% today it makes a positive turning.

Now for guasa. Wow. Yours is consider pretty tense result but mine was worse (it was darker purple) and the Guasa specialist said that I am very acidic .

That being said I am more on the ticklish side so this traditional process can be a little bit torturous when I am trying not to laugh.

I hope you have an amazing day too and a blessed weekend!

Hi @littlenewthings! Yes we have to constantly remind ourselves that Life is really 10% of what happened to you and 90% of how you react to situations. It wasn't easy for me to adapt that kind of mindset. Like many other people, I was driven by emotions too. It wasn't easy to really adapt this 10/90%. It wasn't. And I am so proud of myself as how I progressed into better managing my reactions. We need to be zen most of the times. Then only we will live a fulfilling life. Just keep planting the seeds in your mind and I am sure you will get a better control of your emotions and reactions 😊

And about the guasa part, yes majority of us have an acidic body. It was due to many factors.. external factors like having not enough sleep, eating too much acidic food like meats (we should really go for vegetarian 😆) and a sedentary lifestyle. It was no surprise as to why we have an acidic body. Guasa is another great way to remind us to take a better care of our body, thus our health.

Thank you for your great comment! Have a great weekend to you too 😊
