I am always impressed by the ideas of Korean filmmakers specifically, but this time and specifically in The Call the creativity crossed the line to the point that it would have spoiled the experience in general had it not been for the creativity of photography, directing and mastery of acting,
The Call, original Netflix production, returns to us in 2020 with a new chapter of mystery and mind-playing films mixed with some horror and bloody written and directed by the young "Li Chung Hyun", in the next few lines will review the work in all its artistic aspects without burning the events
The Call Story
The call is set when Siu Yun returns home to find a call on the home phone of a girl from the past asking for her help to start a complex time adventure that will change their lives forever.

Output:
Unlike writing here, Li Zhonghyun really creates fairy scenes with many techniques of photography to create a mixture of horror and mystery professionally.
The most distinctive of the output is the lighting, which played a very important role in the distinction between the past in orange and present in blue, and certainly the choice of those colors is not pure charity but it carried a significance in the events of the story, orange was a symbol of fire, anger and blue that sometimes turns black indicates the coolness of the current era and the strong sense of frustration of the members of this generation in general.
He was also very successful in using the "Dutch tilt angle" method to add the character of the characters' mental tension, create a general atmosphere of discomfort and show the inner suffering of young suk, the psychologically disturbed girl.
Also its continuation on the classic style in horror movies used the method of shooting with fixed cameras and shots of the ground level a lot to add the element of anticipation and show the reactions of the characters clearly as usual in all horror movies.

What caught the attention of all those who watched the work was the truly dazzling time shift footage, full of creative ideas that we've never seen before.
In short, the director was distinguished in almost everything and is the key element in the excellence of the film.
Representation:
The great disparity between the two protagonists highlighted one of them on the other in a striking way, especially since her personality was the best in writing and the most spaced to present acting creativity.
Jeon Jong-siu:
In the role of Young Sok, a girl with antisocial personality disorder, she created a wonderful lycée in her performance of the Joker, but in a feminist form that was not repeated much.
Park Shin Hai:
Siu Yun, the psychologically ill girl, too, but to a lesser extent because of her harsh past and despite the space of the role, she didn't give it a striking role, and she couldn't add much to the work but to his traditional lyrical ness.
Review of The Call
One of the Korean films featured with an impressive idea but certainly does not match "Forgotten" at the end nor "oldboy" in its symbolism, a cinematic experience especially enjoyable for fans of mystery movies and time dilemmas, do not miss it.
