To hurt a human being

Hazrat Abdul Rahman bin Abu Laila (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the companions of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) told us the story that they were once going with the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).

One of the companions fell asleep and the other man jokingly grabbed his rope.

When the sleeper's eye was opened and he did not see his rope, he became upset. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

It is not permissible for a Muslim to intimidate a Muslim.
(Abu Dawud)

Hazrat Barida (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

Killing a believer is more important in the sight of Allah Almighty than the end of the whole world.

This means that just as the end of the world is a great thing for people, killing a believer in the sight of God is even greater.
