Today I am writing about an interesting Steemit Engagement Challenge S27- W1: which is all time my favourite topic "Desserts From Grain"" this amazing challenge organised by @suboohi .

Do you think desserts are important at special events?

Of course, sweets are very important on special occasions. Sweets are considered a symbol of happiness. Whenever there is good news, the words that come out of a person's mouth spontaneously are 'Have something sweet' or 'Please make us eat something sweet'. Sweets reflect our happiness and we express our happiness by feeding them sweets.

Be it a festival or a wedding, house warming ceremony, or children's exam results being successful. Sweets come first everywhere, so wherever there is happiness, there will definitely be sweets. The forms of sweets are different; people eat the kind of sweets they like.

I'm sharing a recipe from the course, Semolina Halwa.


The ingredients we'll need to make Semolina Halwa are as follows:

Serves for 4 people


Preparation time: 15 to 20 minutes


1 cup semolina
1 cup sugar
100 gm ghee
1 glass water
Dry fruits

First, we took a bowl of semolina and cleaned it. Then, I poured ghee into a pan, turned on the gas, and added the semolina and sautéed it over low heat until golden brown.


Tip


We use the same amount of sugar and water in a glass as the amount of semolina. For example, one bowl of semolina corresponds to one bowl of sugar and one glass of water. This is the perfect ratio for making halwa. As the semolina thickens, the amount of sugar and water will increase accordingly.

We're stirring constantly to prevent it from burning. When it's golden brown, it will begin to smell fragrant. The sign that it's done is that the spoon you're stirring it with will become completely clear. There won't be any semolina stuck to it.

When the semolina is fried, we add sugar. I added sugar, a bowl of sugar, and a glass of water, and continued stirring.

When the water had completely evaporated, I turned off the heat. I poured the halwa into a bowl and then sprinkled chopped dry fruits on top. The halwa is ready.
