SLC26-W1 // Introduction Of Appetizers

1000553207.jpg

It is my pleasure to take part in this contest, and I want to share my step by step preparation of chicken corn soup. So after understanding what is required and why appetiser is needed before the main dish, I go ahead and bought ingredients to prepare appetizer.

Do you agree "Appetizers are used to stimulate hunger"???

Yes sure I totally agree with you. Just as learnt in the course outline that they always come in small portion and they are saved before the main meal Of course there is a purpose for doing this which is to

  1. Stimulate appetite by triggering the taste buds to wake up giving it hope that food is not far away.

  2. It's also stimulate the body to encourage the stomach walls to secretes (HCL) hydrochloric acid which helps in digestion of the main meal to come.

  3. It also wet the appetite of your guests while waiting for the release of the main dish.

For this reason they don't need to be a heavy meal but they should be something with flavour, very light, and very attractive enough to wait the appetite for the main dish.

Make one of the recipes that are shared in the course with a detailed step-by-step procedure along with images.

I choose to make chicken Corn Soup, so please follow along as I show you how I prepared mine.
