Here we visit a farm, 450 meters above sea level

Knaisætra in Hurdal is the county's best-preserved farm village, with 16 old log houses. It is an important cultural landscape of national importance. Knaisætra was originally cleared by Finns in the 17th century and later became the farm for Knaigårdene. The farm was in operation until 1967 and again from 1991 to 2004, when it was primarily run as a restaurant.
