[SUMMARY] SC27W1 🚂✈️ Let's Play OpenTTD 🚢🚁
The first week of the 27th season of the Steemit Challenge has concluded. This time, I introduced you to the game OpenTTD. I never expected 18 submissions, and only a couple of them were weakly written. This almost doubled my expectations. Thank you all for participating.
You all figured out how to download and install the game. However, some struggled with formatting and explaining their homework, perhaps rushing or not taking the work seriously enough. The first lesson was introductory — to create a world and explore it. In the future, you can continue from your previous game or new users can join and start a new world.
I’ll try to make the next tasks interesting so that both returning players can continue their previous game and newcomers can join and compete by creating their own new world.
This week we received 18 submissions, almost all of which were well done.
The winners of the first week are as follows.

Comments
I’ll comment on some points regarding the winners:
@mohammadfaisal submitted the work first, and being first is always challenging. The main reason for his lower score was that he didn’t indicate the non-standard window elements,
as @akmalshakir
did in his work.
@kouba01 also described these buttons in his table, but he was missing an illustrative image. In this game, the window elements are somewhat unusual and placed in unexpected locations. The close button is on the left, while the pin button is on the right, and minimizing the window works differently too — this non-standard layout is quite noticeable. It’s reminiscent of macOS or Linux, which is unusual for Windows.
Another, non-critical point — most of you think that resources appearing near the city is good. That’s not the case. It either doesn’t matter at all, or it might even be a disadvantage rather than an advantage.
It was difficult to determine the winners, as the next works were only slightly behind them. I’m considering the best approach: announce that these winners will not be winners again? But this would prevent them from participating at all. I’m thinking of either giving 0.5 extra points next week to the good works this week, or giving the current winners -0.5 next week — this way, everyone will have motivation to participate. Even the current winners will have a big chance to win again. Competing with yourself is the best victory. So everyone will have an incentive to submit better work. I hope for your understanding and support of this idea.
Good homework but not in top6 😒

Some participants added a video to their work, which is very helpful — so whenever possible, include a short video.
Once again, thank you to all participants, and I wish you success next time!
