Employing Patience To Solve Life's Toughest Problems

in WORLD OF XPILAR5 days ago

There are problems that time will naturally fixed, or at least, provide you with a potent way to fix it. When you bring a hot food for example, and leave it a while, it will become cold. That is the power of having patience. There are times when challenges of life may seem a bit bigger than you. Or the mountains of life may appear so big that it may begin to make you restless, uncomfortable, or even hopeless. In these moments, there is a very powerful tool that you can employ - which is patience. Understand that patience is not about sitting idle, doing absolutely nothing, and waiting for the challenges to roll away. It is actually waiting with wisdom, with strength, and with the believe that all problems have expiring date, and that time can fix a lot of things.

One of the major limitations of a lot of people in this era is that they want everything "now now," without the need to apply patience. As a farmer for example, if you plant a crop today, will you not wait for some time for it to mature before you even think of going to harvest it? When you start a business today, will you not also wait to make profit before you begin to take from it? If you can apply patience in all these, why not in other aspects of life? There are some challenges that come to people that the solution will lie in allowing time to take its course. For example, you cannot stop the rain from falling when it comes, no matter how heavy it may be, you cannot stop it. But the rain cannot fall in that manner forever. If you give it a little time, the clouds will clear. In life, if you learn patience, you will begin to experience ease.

It is worthy to note that a lot of things that you want to achieve in life have due processes and methods that need to be followed, and these also include time frame that must be observed. Going for a quick fix, or for shortcut, might not provide a lasting solution because it will bypass the due process. Patience has a way of teaching one to follow the due process, analyse the situation at hand carefully, and act at the right time. You will agree with me that a seed does not suddenly become a tree in a twinkle of an eye, there will definitely be a due process to be followed. In the same way, solving the problems of life will require the patience to follow the due process of life - like learning, growing, adjusting, etc.

When you learn to use time in your favour, you will not be swayed by the challenges that come your way. It is patience that helps you to see beyond the present, beyond what is happening around you, and see the end result. If you can see the end, you will endure the process. A farmer that has envisioned the harvest will wait for the due process and will not be in a haste to dig up the seeds before they are mature. It is impatience that makes one to abandon a potential solution, while patience helps you to stay on the right course until the solution is gotten.

One of the things you should also know about patience is that it brings clarity. I remember there was a time I was faced with a very challenging situation and I was about to make a haste on-the-spot decision which may have wrecked the entire thing. But I had to pause to think, then I took a little time to brood over it and after a few days, I found clarity, and I was able to come up with the solution. Imagine if I had rushed to make the decision, I may have wandered off to the wrong path.

Each time that life presents you with challenges or tough situations, do not panic or begin to make hasty and wrong decisions. Learn to stay calm, relax, take a time to think. Then remind yourself that even the darkest point of the night does not last eternally, because the day will always dawn. This will help you to have a clearer mind to face the challenge - a mind that is rooted in knowledge that every problem will definitely be solved at the right time.
