Discovering The Power That Lies Within you: Route To Self-Discovery

in WORLD OF XPILAR2 days ago

In this present world, there are lots of distractions out there which have created pressure within people to make them be like someone else. This pressure has led a lot of people into doing unwholesome things to make them be who they are not, while forgetting that they are actually different people all together. Instead of trying to be a version of someone else, which can only make you to be a second at most, it is better to be the best version of yourself. There is a power that rests within you to become a better version of yourself; this is what you need to unleash.

Every human is different from everyone else. No matter what you think you have or have not, where you are from, your background, etc, you have to understand that you are still uniquely different. There is something within you that makes you different from someone else. This is not just about your name or your origin, but it is about understanding your values, your strength and weaknesses, your passion, your vision, and even your fears. If you have not discovered your own dreams, you might be caught up living someone else's dream, and you might be met with unnormal struggles. One of the reasons behind the life struggles of some people may just be because they want to live like someone else.

It is only when you are in line with what you are built to do that you will experience ease. A fish will not struggle or have difficulty with swimming, a bird will not have difficulty with flying, a horse will not have difficulty galloping. But Imagine if the roles become reversed and the fish wants to fly or the bird wants to swim, they will experience so much difficulty. That someone is doing something does not make it fit for you. You have to consciously and intentionally discover what you are built to be. The power that lies within you can only be unleashed when you are doing what you are designed for. Trust me, every human has a purpose and no one is an accident. When you know this, your purpose will become stronger and you will start to discover the power within you.

When you know and have discovered yourself, you will stop comparing yourself with others, stop doubting yourself, and then start working to improve yourself to get better. More so, you will make better decisions and have more confidence when you know yourself. You function better when you do what you are built for. However, you need to first discover yourself in order to know who you really are and what you are supposed to be.

To discover yourself, there are things that can give you an aid and point you to the right direct, which we will look at.

The first point is to try to reflect on your dominant thoughts, your feelings, your actions, and even your emotions. This will help you to identify your patterns when you have put these pieces together, then you will know what matters to you. For example, you might see yourself caring so much about humanity, or about the people challenged in their health even while growing up, or you just wish to save lives or make someone feel better. This could point you to the fact that you are actually designed for the medical field, maybe as a nurse, doctor, or other health practices.

Another point is to explore new experiences. It might be in doing this that you will actually discover your true self. Facing new challenges can actually help you to discover who you really are, or even uncover some of your hidden talents and abilities.

The last point is to take note of people's honest feedback and opinions. Sometimes, there may be things that others will see about you that you may not even have an idea of. Pay attention to what people say honestly about you, especially from the people you can trust. This can actually point you to your purpose and to what will help you to discover yourself and your strengths. Do not always brush off people's opinions, because some of them can help you in your life's journey.
