I made a movie! Please save the date!

Very rich people at Alphabet, Inc., via its subsidiary of very rich people at Google, Inc., via its subsidiary of very rich people at YouTube, Inc., will host the international premiere of Saving Stuckism: A to Zed on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 8 - 10 pm BST. Match the correct time from wherever you are in the world. It will be available for 24 hours, and taken down during the month of October while international film festivals weigh in on its low budget brilliance.
From my press release: “This documentary follows American painter Ron Throop, who in April 2025 traveled to Muswell Hill, North London, where he worked and walked alongside international Stuckist artists, including Edgeworth Johnstone, Emma Pugmire, Donald Guy, and movement co-founder Charles Thomson. While centered on the process of painting and collaboration, Saving Stuckism: A to Zed is also a meditation on authenticity in art. The film explores the persistence of the Stuckist spirit—artists who resist artifice and embrace sincerity—while raising critical questions about the future of painting as a way of life. Created collaboratively by artists rather than professional filmmakers, the documentary embodies the movement’s spirit of independence. It is as much a work of art as a record of art-making, situating itself within an alternative lineage of artistic history-making.”
