Cape Henlopen State Park aka Fort Miles

Here is a shot of the lighthouse on the first wall near Lewes, Delaware. This lighthouse is still in operation and helps mariners steer clear of the large stone wall that protects the safe harbor. Prior to the walls construction many ships were lost due to severe northeasterly storms. Some of the wrecks can still be visited to this day.
