Digital art: Asteroid belt

Hello Steemians,

I’ve been doing 3D modeling for a long time, but in recent years my work has been more related to industrial projects in the medical field. Today I tried to recall my past skills and wanted to depict something from the realm of science fiction using color structures and specific lighting. I’m inspired by science fiction. In this illustration I tried to depict the movement of particles inside an asteroid belt , moving through outer space. I used a sphere as the main element. Perhaps I should have used more imagination and created irregular shapes that resemble rocks more closely. But what’s done is done.

Artwork created with Blender software. To generate the array of objects, I used a particle system within a confined volume, which was initially a cube. I modified it a bit to give it a flat shape. The render was done in Cycles mode.
