Let's bring some noise for STEEM and SBD :)

in WORLD OF XPILARyesterday

If you live in the EEA (that's the European Economic Area - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Economic_Area) you probably have heard about Bitvavo, a crypto exchange based in the Netherlands. It is quite old, actually, and very well regulated, keeping up with all EU regulations. (Yeah, yeah, it has its pros and cons, of course!)

Most probably, if you meet that condition ;) you already have an account there.

Are you aware STEEM was listed at Bitvavo and there have been some nice trades going on. Unfortunately, for unknown reasons (at least to me), STEEM has been delisted.

I believe that if many of us request it back, the team taking the listing/delisting decisions on Bitvavo will reconsider.

As we all know, each new listing improves the reputation and therefore the trading pairs and prices of the coin. It is possible it brings new investors and why not, quality bloggers as well.

The process of requesting a coin to be listed isn't too sophisticated, especially if you have the app already installed. Here is the official link for requesting a "new" asset: https://support.bitvavo.com/hc/en-us/articles/26535473497489-How-can-I-request-new-assets

  • Open the Bitvavo app.
  • Press the profile icon in the top-right corner.
  • Scroll to the "Feedback" section and tap “Request an asset”.
  • Enter the name of the desired digital asset in the search bar.
  • If the asset is not already listed, you will see an option to request it.

I didn't have the app installed and unfortunately it is impossible to request a new asset from desktop, using a browser. (Interestingly, why not???)

So after installing the app and confirming the new device through an email, I was finally able to request the listings.

Why plural?

As I requested the listing of both STEEM and SBD. (the appeared all together when I typed "Stee".

It took me about a half an hour to accomplish it all, as after entering for three times my login credentials and the 2FA code, I figured out something isn't quite right and I have to restart my phone and thankfully, that fixed the issues, probably some temporary session problems or internet connectivity, who knows...

Taking screenshots is not permitted when using the Bitvavo mobile app. (Kinda cool and safe, isn't it? ;)))

A nice confirmation that I've done my part properly lets me know that if the assets are listed I'll get a notification.
