My Eid Day After Ramadan

Eid Mubarak! I was very happy after Ramadan ended. Eid is a time for family and friends. I want to tell you about my Eid day.

The Night Before

On the last day of Ramadan, I ate with my family. The food was good. I felt excited about Eid. After dinner, I went out with friends. We played Belote cards at a coffee shop for two hours. The coffee shop was full of happy people.

Late Night Fun

We drove around the city at night. The streets had nice decorations. People wore nice clothes. We got hungry and stopped to eat "5alta." This food is popular here. We ate and talked about our plans. After eating, we go to play 8 ball and snooker. We play for long time. I not win many games but I have fun. My friend Ahmed is very good at snooker. He win most games.

Eid Morning

I woke up early. I took a shower and put on my new clothes. I went to the mosque with my family. Everyone said "Eid Mubarak" to each other. The prayer was nice. It made me feel thankful.

Family Meal

After prayer, we had a big breakfast at home. In Sfax, we eat special food like "Sharmoula" and "7out Mala7." Sharmoula has spices and dried fish. 7out Mala7 is salted fish. This food reminds me of when I was small.

Visiting Family

We visited many relatives and friends. This is important in Eid. We gave gifts and sweets. People were happy to see us. They gave us baklava and kaak warka to eat.

Afternoon Time

We rested at home after the visits. Then we met friends again. We played more card games.

End of Day

At night, I felt happy about my day. Eid is not just about food. It is about making memories with people we love. Before sleep, I thought about all the good things in my life.
