HUNTING INSECT | Striped Orange Butterfly with Wounds on its Wings
Hello guys!
This time I will share a butterfly photo that I took using my cellphone camera. The wings that have been torn off by predators do not make them lose their beauty. But the wound he got was a trait of attraction.
Butterflies and moths (rama-rama) are insects belonging to the order Lepidoptera, or 'scale-winged insects' (lepis, scales and pterons, wings).
In simple terms, butterflies are distinguished from moths aka night butterflies based on their active time and physical characteristics. Butterflies are generally active during the day (diurnal), while moths are mostly active at night (nocturnal). Butterflies rest or perch by spreading their wings, moths perch by spreading their wings. Butterflies usually have a beautiful brilliant color, moths tend to be dark, dull or gray.
