The Thrill of Frenzy Mode: My Close Call in Raid 38

in WORLD OF XPILAR10 days ago

After we brought Elbran to her knees in Raid 38, the real madness began—Frenzy Mode. A brutal game of timing, tension, and nerve.

Here’s how it works: once the boss is defeated, a countdown begins. Players can pay 1 Steem per attack, and each payment adds 30 seconds to the clock. But only one thing matters—who hits last before the timer hits zero. That player walks away with the base reward of 50 Steem, plus every extra Steem contributed by participants.

It’s not about total damage or strategy anymore—it’s about pure timing and risk. It’s about staying in the game long enough without burning through your entire wallet. And believe me, it gets intense.

In Raid 38, I jumped into the frenzy with full energy. I made multiple attacks, stayed close to the countdown, and right at 00:00:33, I landed my last hit. At that moment, I thought I had it. But I was running out of Steem. As I paused to consider another attack—victornavaro came in and claimed the final hit.

I ended up as the second last attacker. The final pot? 121 Steem—one of the biggest frenzy rewards I’ve witnessed so far.

It stung, but it also thrilled me. Frenzy Mode keeps you on the edge of your seat. One second too late—or one Steem too short—and it slips away.

Still, I walked away proud. I was this close. And I’ll be better prepared next time.

So, the lesson? Keep enough Steem handy, watch that timer like a hawk, and when the moment comes—strike. It’s not just a game, it’s a rush.
