"The best way to win the game is to stop moving the goalposts." |
It is a story of a student named Daniel, who was once a bright student in his primary school. But when he rose to his high school, he started to pay less heed to his studies, he started to scroll rails, and his time got wasted in useless activities. Daniel was a very genius student. He was unaware of his ability of learning. In his ninth standard, he scored 90% max, and similarly in the 10th standard, he managed to score 90% marks. For him, studies became too easy because with little effort, he scored 90% marks in high school. But when he entered college, he set into the class with the previous mindset that he would one day score bright marks with no effort, but it was a mistake at this time. Because at this time, he was in college, and a time came before his exams, three months before his exams, when he started to feel that he was not succeeding in college. Managing daily tasks to make up for is classes and examinations. He started to fall into anxiety, depression, and became nervous. He started to get nervous every time and started to think again and again and again. At last, he decided to drop that class and try it next year. What this decision, he came to his comfort zone. And again for the next year, he thought that he would do it easily because he is a dropper and he knows a lot as compared than his fresh companions. He started to do this again and again and again. And at last, the exam of his life came. Yes, it was an exam of his life because he had given him a chance. And giving up at this time means giving up on the whole educational career, which means giving up on the whole life. But Daniel, as I described to you earlier, was A genius student who was unaware of his abilities. He was a procrastinator and one day he started to left his procrastination in such a way that he sat on a desk and tried to write something again and again at that time he felt that he has enough time for studies the studies he is looking for he has enough time to play game along with studies enjoying extra-ricular activities and following hobbies he felt that if voice set our mind toward clear goals we can do anything it is very easy to do but for the first day he studied for hours and his confidence boasted no doubt his result was not according to his wish but what the thing he achieved was an image of his self-veen that he can do what many people could not do throughout their life. Just because they start to think again and again, they make a new plan, do not set their goal for one plan. From this whole story, I concluded one thing. A few days ago, I listened to a quote from Williamson Christopher that success never comes from changing goal posts. It means that if our goal remains the same, then we get success, and if we keep on changing our goal, we never get success in any particular field. Just like this, think if Daniel changed his mindset toward any business or toward dropping out one school again, then it might lead to committing another mistake. But his effort of one day revealed to him that he can do what most people never try, and he achieved success in his field. This is the power of taking a small step toward a big achievement.
