A Graphite Sketch

This girl happened to be in my line of sight one time last month and I felt it wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t at least give her one shot. The atmosphere was tense and I wasn’t so sure I would be able to properly capture my intent but I pressed on anyway. The look of innocence in her eyes is almost universal. That infectious (but genuine) look is something even adults must learn. All these plots and agendas only lead to an inevitable end.
So when I see children whose innocence has been corrupted by weak minds, it pains me to my soul.
