Partial solar eclipse

On March 29, 2025, there was a partial solar eclipse in the middle of the day. I knew about this event in advance and was waiting for it. But at the time of the eclipse, I found myself in a part of the city where there were no objects at all to align with the solar disk.

Nearby was the Church of St. Andrew the First-Called in Zarechye.

I took a cross into the frame, after attaching the teleconverter to a long-focus lens.

Then I took a couple more shots with tree branches.

Two women came up to me and immediately asked if I was filming the eclipse.

I showed them the shots with a large sun, they were delighted and began to try to take pictures themselves on a smartphone.
