Morning fireball
It's been a long time since I got up at dawn! This time I wanted to capture how the sun's disk rises over the Spaso-Prilutsky monastery, but when I arrived at the field, I saw a dense fog. Frustrated, I moved to the center hoping for foggy views.
But the universe rewarded me for getting up so early – a fireball appeared in the sky above the horizon.
I've seen this kind of sun more than once at sunset in extreme heat.
But I see it at dawn for the first time! It's because of the fog and haze in the sky.
My next actions are obvious: I devoted the whole walk to this red disk in the sky.
Due to the low location of the sun and the density of the building, there were very few camera angles with the smoky sun.
But it's enough for me to type ten different pictures so that I can show what the sun was like that morning.
In general, there is nothing to do in the city center at dawn.
There is little space for a low-level light source.
Almost all objects will be in shadow and only rare rays will illuminate something.
You can easily judge this by the banal sunsets.
It will be more interesting when the sun rises enough to illuminate many objects.
Then the pictures will be unusual in that the light falls on the scene from a completely different angle.
Now I will force myself to get up at dawn more often – real miracles happen there!
