The hen and the egg

The hen and the egg state of affairs is a scenario quiet similar to life and purpose.

Have you ever seen a hen sit on an egg for 21 days. I promise you it is one of the most powerful picture of purpose you would ever see. No noise, no movement, no applause, just heat, pressure and faith. From the outside nothing looks like it's changing, but inside that shell, destiny is forming, organs, bones, identity, purpose. And here is the thing, if you crack an egg too early, you will kill what it would have become, because potential needs time not proof, potential needs pressure not popularity. What's really crazy about this whole process is that the hen can't really see what is inside the egg, no ultrasound, no feedback, no sign of life, but she sits day after day, night after night. WHY?? because she knows that as long as she stays faithful to the contract, she would gain from it, the egg will hatch.

Isn't that true about purpose? You don't see progress, but something is forming deep inside the shell. From the outside, it looks like nothing is happening. I would like to say that the shell is not your limitation but your incubation. I would also say that silence is not your enemy rather it's your environment for formation. The hen doesn't need proof to be consistent, just faith and the eggs would hatch. She does her part and the rest is left for God. So, if you are building something right now that no one can see, and you feel it hidden, overlooked or forgotten, remember the hen, she doesn't see change but she believes and because she believes, life happens. Stay faithful, stay planted, sometimes the pressure you feel is not a proof of failure it's the promise of formation. The egg never looks pregnant but it's carrying destiny, The shell which is outside looks the same way everyday, but what is inside never stays the same.

Formation comes first before revelation. As I said earlier, the shell is not a trap, it is a timer, and every timer eventually hits zero and when it's does, you breakthrough. This writing should be more to you as much as it is more to me.
