The Holy Week's Good Friday is getting different now here in my place
I am surprised that the "reading" in the chapel near my house is not blaring with its usual cadence of semi-singing and it seems that the plagiarists, the ones who beat their backs to make it bleed as their own act of repentance are just diminishing in numbers. Yesterday there should be at least some small gangs of them as well as the cross-bearers, the ones that chose to literally carry a cross which is again their way of showing repentance, are not growing in numbers but the opposite.
Maybe people are already realizing that the act was useless and that it is not written in the bible because the Lord Jesus Christ has no such teachings. It is because what a person or a Christian should bear was not a physical cross but his cross which are his teachings and this burden are light which if you carry will basically give you an everlasting life, that life beyond this life where hardships, tears, fears, worries, and problems.
Well anyway, it is really hot now and I think that the self-flagellants are also considering the heat of the pavement or the concrete road to maybe postpone their ritual because the heat of the concrete road will surely cook the soles of their feet considering that these groups of fanatics are bare-footed and only wearing trousers with their shirts covering their whole head maybe because to remain anonymous to the public but maybe not to the ones that knows them.
The ones that nailed to the cross are the spectacle because they are literally nailed on the cross will stainless steel nails. But may it be nailed to the webbing of their hands and feet, it is still painful. But their arms are secured by rope so that they will not fall or cause the lightly nailed nails on the wood to come undone. They are standing on the cross because the cross has this "corn" or platform where they can basically just sand there for some few minutes supported by the popes around their arms and then act as if they lost their consciousness because most of the time they are carried after taken out from the cross to "stay dead" until Sunday. If they do not have a sponsor or getting paid to do it, then there will be no show.

The ones nailed to the cross? What kind of spectacle is that? Not even Jesus was nailed to the cross, that version was made up. It was no habit to do that back then besides he would have fallen down because of his body weight.
There was nothing holy around here. I was busy, mainly catching up with projects, and two are nearly finished (if not three).
Easter past by fast but finally the weather became better, sun and and some win,d but the windows are open and being outside is also pleasant.
A good Friday. How was dialysis?
These sets of Catholics have a devotion and belief that what they are doing will make their sins to be forgiven. The Catholic church in the other hand doesn't encourage nor ban the practice like they do not care if their members does crimes nor punish them.
Anyway, my treatment sessions are successful, I can tolerate my dialysis now because my blood is not acidic anymore and I my breathing now is normal.
If it was just that easy to pay off for sins. Sounds like what the catholic church stands for.
It's good to hear dialysis is going better and you can breathe normal. Time for a new mattress?
