My "To the Moon" shots
My dialysis schedule went early today and I was given the first slot so we head up to the dialysis clinic at dawn, too early enough that the center was still closed when we got there.
It is a good thing because I saw that the there is a full Moon, however its full view is quite being obstructed by the clouds so I can't get a better photo of it. But I got some few shots and these are processed by the camera of my Vivo X200 Pro which is why in many shots, the sky seems to be clear but with lesser magnification you can determine the extent of the clouds covering the moon.
The "Supermoon" feature allowed me to get a better representation of the view of the Moon because of its warmer color while in other close-up shots, you can see more detailed photo of the Moon. The camera calls for an internet connection for some of these shots, maybe because it needs to connect to a server of Vivo to be able to process the images. But regardless it is quite fun to photograph the Moon and see these results.

The only way I can make close photos is by using the telescope. I wonder if we see the same moon.

It's a great opportunity that I had the shot of the moon the other day because it is on full moon view from my perspective. I am not sure if we can see the same face but it seems that you can in another angle from you are further up there in the upper-side globe Miss @wakeupkitty
Where I am "standing" is near the equator, the reflection of the moon's light gets a bit shorter and if the sky is cloudless, the surroundings is lit-up. Too bad that we do not have the terrace anymore, it had been converted in a room which is the room beside my room, nobody uses it now which was at one time a room for me and my two brothers and it was built in 1992.
But before that I would go there at night especially if the is a powerloss or "Brown-out" in my area because in my younger years there are a lot of power outages and gives us the opportunity in the house to talk to each other because if there is electricity, the night times are spent on watching TVs because in those years there are not cable TVs yet and only the mode of entertainment in the provinces were TVs whereas only the rich families can afford watching Betamax.
In our family we only get to enjoy a few weeks of watching from Betamax video tapes after my father went home from working abroad and when went back to work to abroad he sold the video cassette recorder. From that point forwards, I missed a lot of watching movies from Betamax, VHS, and VCDs (later DVDs) until my father brought home a VHS player in 1998 which is the only time we again watched movies from a rented VHS tapes at home from the point in time that my father sold our (his) Betamax player from the mid-80's.
We enjoyed watching movies from that VHS because movies from the late 90's and 2000's still amuses me especially when my bother rents them until my brother bought a VCD player and then a DVD player. He stopped renting when the Internet happened to allow us to just downloaded movies. From that point it was the time that movie rental shops died and became a thing of the past... so fast. I am in a way felt sad about it because gone are the days where after renting the DVDs, me and my brothers and sometimes other friends would watch the movies we rented together here in the house.
Yes I know, my reply ended the conversation about renting movies, the nostalgia for me is just connected of having quality times in the past under the bright moonlight when the power is out and we get to converse together as people go out and talk to each other and then celebrating as if a team they rooting for won the finals, you can't imagine how electricity was cut here in the early 90's, it would be out of commission for days. 😄

I see another side of the moon and I notice it's at the left instead of the right, (hidden behind a grey sky) and I have to look up.
We never had a Betamax but I remember how my uncle and his friend dit a bet tit would be the video system how wrong they were with us it was VHS no beta and not C1000 which was the third.
I have many videos and still have them and you know a few years ago I bought 3 players to be provided if one gets broke. THe second hand shop sold them they were brand new and only cost 2.5 euros. I remember the first VHS recorder I bought was 1800 hfl (that would be about 800-900 euros today. Kind of crazy!) I admit we had years of fun and no matter what happened with it it kept playing (lollypop pushed inside for example.
We also had a videothek where one could rent videotapes but also a video player. At times I rented that one as well and I let it play while my own recorded the film. Still have the recorded films and as the shop was bankrupt and sold all the videotapes I bought many because they were only a few cents and we still watch them. I must say the videotampes are in a better state than the DVDs.
It's true that with the phone it's harder to have a family life or doing all those things that were so normal not too long ago. Now we are clued to our phone (did you shoot those bugs already?) but the positive thing is that we can talk and olivia08 can entertain us with her songs.

It's nostalgic having to use these video players in the past because watching movies from them are really special moments for me because I do not get to see movies until they are showed on TVs later so it is a rare occasion for me to watch movies when I was younger until I am now bored of watching movies because of what they show now plus my favorite actors and actresses had grown old if not retired or passed away too.
Technology in communications and all these things like Blockchain tech had been a great part of my (our) life/lives and I thank God for because it is a gift that really helped me a lot and had saved my life because I was able to empower myself in helping myself without bothering others.
Anyway, I haven't had any bugs to make a photo with, our small garden doesn't get bugs like grasshoppers. I can only get those by going outside and to places where there are grasses which I can't. Now I miss more the times that I can walk normally. But as soon as I can get to have an insect, it will be photoshooted. 😀

Hi dear @crytpopie, so your mom didn't go on a bug hunt. Who knows there will be a grasshopper between the door sealing like I had this summer or Sara-Sara finds some. How is she doing? Still the same?
I am sorry you miss going out because of the bug photoshoot.
The video players bring back good memories. I loved watching one and it was a luxury (no commercials, no news jus a film and that was it).
With us TV always broadcasted the same. The same film about 4-5 times per year. I guess it was too expensive to buy/show something else. It feels as if the good films were all made back then. Not much news indeed.
Perhpas a series can kill some time since it doesn't take that long. Do you watch animations?
I just watched a short film which I will use for the next post I will write about.

It is only a few minutes
Mother is not giving me insects and the only chance that I will get is if one would come to me and that is impossible to happen since I am always here inside my room because there is not comfortable place for me to stay but here and I seldom go out for the same reason.
Sara-Sara is also a bored dog like me, not much a thing going on except if I hear it barks from time to time if there is a person at the gate calling, like if there is a parcel delivery or people calling my Mother for some reason or another.
I really like our guard dog and it felt funny how it reacts to me because we are not close and the its estrangement to me is still there unlike the previous dogs that we had in the past years and I do miss them all.
I also miss the moments that me and my siblings and my mother too watching movies together when my brother rents a video cassette and that thing I guess will never happen again especially now that watching movies are not that special anymore as Smartphones and watching videos in the Internet had replaced our entertainment needs already.
Insects are everywhere. It sounds like you and Sara-Sara have a lot in common. Not much going on. How to change that?
You should buy the peanut butter. You like it, Sara-Sara might and mice like it too. Good for a photoshoot. Just keep Dad away from the jar.
The entertainment these days is more a solo act. It's fine to watch alone but I like to discuss what I saw also the work of the director plus I watch the long list with names of those who worked on it. I used them fir the animals in the shelter I had 😁
I don't believe our needs if it comes to entertainment and companionship changed. It was nice at first to be able to watch something else if only sports was broadcasted or the next disaster or "news" item
Today it's busy & bored to many.
I hope you get through the day and one of your siblings stop by and will accompany you with a jar with bugs.
