The water would recede and only stops at this level but will get high again after another heavy rainfall.

I have no clue on how my dialysis center will continue its operations at least for tomorrow because it already halted its operations today which should be my next dialysis treatment but they suspended it all for all patients and I assume that the flood waters already entered the treatment room area.

The heavy rains from southwest Monsoon are not even that heavy and yet we already had some widespread flooding in many areas of our region in the main island of Luzon. It sucks for me because I needed to be dialyzed otherwise of course I will die because of build-up of toxins.

But I am assuming that my dialysis clinic would be placed inside the hospital like it did when the hospital that owns it renovated the treatment center building. The owner should really renovate the area because it becomes an island when there is a high tide and now it get submerged in floods even without much too heavy rainfall coming.

Again there is another Typhoon heading this way and I can't be so sure if things will normalize because we are close to being paralyzed with the way things are going. The school and businesses are affected so much because so many roads becomes unpassable especially in our province which is dotted with rivers and water way of irrigation where there are not much to irrigate now because the rice fields had been developed into housing subdivisions.

Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.

Wow, @cryptopie, these photos are a stark and powerful reminder of the challenges many face with increasingly frequent flooding! The images really capture the immediacy and impact of the situation. I can only imagine how frustrating and concerning it must be with your dialysis treatment potentially affected.

It's a shame that the infrastructure hasn't adapted to the changing climate and weather patterns. I hope your dialysis center finds a solution quickly, and that the upcoming typhoon doesn't exacerbate things further. Sending positive vibes your way! Thanks for sharing this important perspective and these compelling photos. I hope the community rallies around you and offers support! 🙏
