Rhododendron

I found something in the garden today that I didn't plant there. It was clearly there before we moved into the house. Hidden behind the ferns, I found something shiny in the bush. A purple, flowery flower with stamens whose anthers shine like metal balls!

I decided to check what kind of plant this was - it turned out to be "just" a Rhododendron! I asked Chatgpt how this effect is achieved, and it turned out that the anthers contain mineral dust that refracts light at a certain angle and creates a metallic sheen! I tried to take a macro photo of the effect and recreate what I saw! I hope you like it :)
