CITYSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY | Rotterdam
The huge Market Hall is shaped like a horseshoe. The ceiling is covered with numerous murals on the theme of the “Cornucopia”.
Then I continued along this beautiful shopping street, which had a pedestrian zone and on the sides were shops where one could certainly find what one was looking for.
There is room for everyone here, both pedestrians and cyclists. People often use bicycles to get around the city quickly and easily.
One of the biggest attractions in the port city is the Cube Houses, designed by Danish architect Piet Blom. The extravagant homes were created in 1977.
Each of the buildings the architect aimed to recreate the buildings as a tree. A total of 40 houses were built, in which people live. One of them welcomes tourists, as a museum exhibit, for a ticket price of 3 euros.
