Greetings to you fellow steemians. I believe you are all fine as I am. I want to say a big thank you to @xpilar for this contest. Today, I drew a bird and here is the progressive shot of the drawing.

Materials Used For The Drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• Sharpener

Step 1
I drew the head of the bird. I started with the beak, and after the beak, I sketched the top of its head, the eyes and finally the neck.

Step 2
I sketched the body of the bird, beginning with the chest, followed by the feathers, and then the tail.

Step 3
I drew the legs of the bird and their feet.

Step 4
I shaded the beak of the bird and the large eyes. I also drew and shaded the nostril which was found on the beak

Step 5
I shaded the remaining part of the head.

Step 6
I shaded the neck, the chest and tail of the bird using a 6B pencil and a 10B pencil.

Step 7
I shaded the legs and feet of the birth.

Step 8
I shaded the wings of the birds using a 6B and 10B pencil. Finally, I shaded the ground level where the bird was standing.

Conclusion
These are the few steps I have taken to draw my bird. I appreciate @xpilar once again for organising this contest. Finally, I invite @ukpono, @jasimuddin0, @rumanaafroz and @zisha-hafiz to also participate in the contest.
