Between the Trees and the Lake & Feathers and Flowers | Zurich, Switzerland
Greetings the fellow people of Steemit and the WOX Community!
Today our stroll through the natural and architectural beauty of Zurich continues. Last time we explored some downtown parts of the city and it’s architectural wonders and lastly we ended by lake Zurich which was near this huge park so today imma show you the park and some parts of it.
Expect some natural beauty, architectural art and some furry friends so let’s begin.
For starters we are starting with some shots of the keys with the boats then stroll through some lively paths where we will meet some feathered friends and then the park and it’s wonders.
I have to say that this park is very quiet and very lively at the same time. You feel like the time has stopped there but you still feel like you are driving on the highway with a high speed, but you know when you are driving with high speed on the highway you don’t feel it that much if that makes sense.
The park is filled with architectural art like monuments and interesting sculptures lots of ducks and some cafes.
What i really loved about this park is its position by the lake and that’s maybe why it felt so alive cuz you have a mixture of a coast-ish environment with park elements take a look at this path for example filled with our feathered friends.
By the shots you get what i mean i really love the fade between the coast-ish paths that then reach to the park and vice versa.
Anyway the second thing that made a really nice impression is the genius people that decided to live by this park or in it. It depends on how you see it cuz i am definitely jealous by the person that lives in this amazing house next to the park it’s amazing spot to live next to and also that house looks like a mini fortress take a look.
I think it’s time to get a little more architectural. So we are gonna miss the middle of the park, because i already have a post about it and it’s this Chinese Garden, but right before this garden there is this very interesting white wall with some greek elements carved to it. Also it’s very long so i had to take more than one shot.
Okay fellas we’ve reached the end of the park or what i think i did, cuz i think that the park keeps on going, but we’ve reached one of the ends of the park with its other coast. And yet except lakescapes it offers more architectural art and more feathered friends.
For the art guys I don’t remember much about this huge trainy looking sculpture, but i remember it being some sort of concept by Andy Warhole.
Anyway let’s check the rest of the lake with some lakescapes and go back to our cute feathered friends.
This is the coast of the park and it sounds really weird using a coast and a park in one sentence, but it is what it is. Even you can spot a fishermen there which is pretty wild, cuz fishing in the park doesn’t make sense, but in that case it does.
Okay fellas this is the last chapter of the post and the most entertaining one. Remember that shack looking cafe from the previous chapter?
Well right next to it is this little pond with stone steps on it which looked like a totally isolated ecosystem filled with ducks which was also pretty wild to see in a park next to a huge lake where fishermen are fishing. Yes the more ridiculous it gets the more eye catching it gets.
Okay guys im gonna finish the post with how just i started it with them boats and the coast. I hope that you found this post interesting to look and that your time was worth this entire stroll. Expect part 3 of Zurich where we will go more deep into the city with a lot of cityscapes till then i wish you a wonderful day and see ya! 👋🏻😄
