Apples in the snow... Oh, no. These are the words from an old song. Now I must say - raindrops on apples.
For 2 weeks, there has not been a single cloud in the sky. Yesterday morning, I realized that it was necessary to give my apple trees water so that they would not start dumping part of the harvest on the ground. A very large apple harvest is expected this year.

Yesterday I took some apples and made a compote out of them. Even my granddaughter and my mom had a cup of compote. Only they added 2 teaspoons of sugar to their mugs. My wife and I cook compotes without sugar; there is enough sugar in berries and fruits.
