Greetings friends
It is believed that the willow is the earliest flowering tree in our region. But that's not really the case. The earring flowers appear on the alder tree much earlier.
I discovered this tree 11 years ago. It surprised me by the fact that last year's cones and new spring earrings are hanging on it at the same time. I may be wrong, but it seems to me that I have not seen other similar trees. I'm talking about a lot of old cones on the tree and young catkins. It can be compared to an apple tree. Imagine, friends, apples hanging and flowers blooming.

And by the way, the tree has not changed in size over the years.
