An Application for Community Curator for May 2025

My Steemit name is @josepha. I joined Steemit on 21st September 2020, which was the exact date I introduced myself to the newcomer community after carefully studying the platform. Since I joined Steem, I have been an active user sharing quality posts, participating in different contests/challenges, and contributing to the growth of the platform through promotions, recruitment, mentoring users, and supporting quality posts with upvotes and comments.

I have worked as a moderator in more than 3 communities before now. Also, I have gained vast experience working as a community curator, many times, with different teams I also took part in Steemit Learning Challenge Season 20 as a teacher where I taught Excel and Google Sheets as part of the Teaching Team organizer. I am an accounting graduate who is currently undergoing his professional examination with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

My user name is @animal-shelter. I joined Steemit in February 2017. At first I thought it would be a place where I would only talk about my animals, but over time my interests on the platform have become much broader. I have been a part of the curatorial team twice and I believe that Steemit is not only a place to socialise, but also a great intercultural project where you can see other peoples' lives as they are, not as they are shown in the media and

I am a lawyer by profession, with a PhD in law and an editor for an animal rights column in a notary magazine. I also have a small home shelter for dogs and cats that have been abandoned by their owners, which I run myself. Since russia attacked my country, I have been actively involved in volunteering to evacuate animals from the war zone and also take some of these animals into my home.
