The only way to increase reputation is through the votes received. The impact or influence on increasing reputation depends on the amount of Stem Power the user who upvotes has.
It's more important to focus on increasing Steem Power; the reputation increase will come on its own.
It's necessary to interact with other users and share good content constantly. While this doesn't guarantee success, it will help you develop at a good pace.
