Proposal Progress: Steemd Images of Both Ubuntu20.04 and Ubuntu24.04

Thanks for all the supporters for Proposal: Fixing Steemd Build Dependencies in the Latest OS

Progress Update

Given the following two PRs have been merged to dev branch, I would like to provide a prebuilt images for steemd so you can test them easily.

Images:

  • docker pull justyy/steem:ubuntu20.04
  • docker pull justyy/steem:ubuntu22.04

For example:

docker pull justyy/steem:ubuntu20.04
ubuntu20.04: Pulling from justyy/steem
Digest: sha256:eadb2c73223dde430a3a2e4c40ac1a6b5704888d356242f44d70bdbef178ce33
Status: Image is up to date for justyy/steem:ubuntu20.04
docker.io/justyy/steem:ubuntu20.04

These two images are built on ubuntu24.04 branch which I am still working on, so they are not exactly the same if you build them from dev branch:

git checkout dev
docker build -t steem:ubuntu20.04 -f deploy/Dockerfile.ubuntu20.04
docker build -t steem:ubuntu22.04 -f deploy/Dockerfile.ubuntu22.04
