King Edward's third daughter Clara's beauty was famous all over Ireland. Many young men were ready to risk their lives to marry her, but Princess Clara had something else in mind. She was in love with a brave and young strong commander Andrew of her own country and was madly in love with him. The king did not know this because the day the king would know this, he would have Andrew's head cut off.

Due to this fear, Clara never showed her love to anyone, but she kept rejecting all the proposals coming for her with some excuse or the other.

Today again King Edward had come to tell Clara that a proposal from the prince of a great country has come for her and this time if she rejects the proposal, he will punish her and put her in prison. The king brought a beautiful bouquet to make Clara happy. He was explaining to Clara with great love that her future will be very beautiful if she agrees to this relationship and marries him. The king told her that this marriage will also give them some political benefits.

On hearing this, Clara hid her head in the pillow and started crying. Finally, the king asked her, “Do you love someone because of whom you have rejected so many good proposals till date?”

Princess Clara knew the consequences of telling the truth, so she kept crying quietly by hiding her face in the pillow. The king was unable to understand what to do with his stubborn daughter.

Finally, he ordered the princess that her marriage is being done next week, now I cannot wait for your answer.”

[Actually, in those times, princesses did not have any right to love ordinary people in the reign of kings and thus got buried in stories.]

I also want to invite here @josepha @haidee and @sualeha

Thanks for reading my post, I pray to God for the progress and happy future of all Steemians.

With Great love and honour,

Sur-riti❤️
