^{CASE 1: A few days ago, a friend's brother died of a heart attack. He lived in the center of the country. As you can imagine, it was shocking and painful news for my friend and her mother in the east. She and her siblings decided not to tell their mother the news, because her health wasn't very good. As expected, the rest of the family—uncles, cousins, nephews, and others—didn't agree with that decision. So far the decision has not been easy, they have limited telephone communication with the lady, to avoid any relative or friend committing an indiscretion, my friend and her brothers have had to repress the pain they feel with her loss so that her mother would not find out, my first impression and from my experience, was that the lady had to live and suffer her pain, then when I saw her I understood the decision and really did not find it sense to tell her in her condition, supporting the decision taken.}

^{CASE 2: I have a close relative who has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and his daughters made the decision not to tell him about his illness. They spoke to the doctor and reached an agreement. They told him they are undergoing preventative treatment to avoid cancer.}

My honest opinion is this, the truth is a crucial part of someone's moral values which must be upheld without fear or favor. It is a core value depicting discipline and great form of bravery. You cannot live with someone and hide the truth from them. However, they say the truth is bitter, we hide the bitter truth from loved ones? From the place of respect and love. I would duly suggest that the manner of approach matters! You cannot correct someone rudely.

Never hide the truth from loved ones!

Moreso, if you must say the truth to someone the manner in which it is done is vital to make the person respect your opinion and core values the truth in context properly. Drawing reference from the invited notion postulated to deliberate upon I would kindly share my opinion. As a family member hiding health complication from a member of the family is doing more harm or worsening the scenario. It is a matter of importance to duly tell the truth for easier tackling of the challenge.

Furthermore, the instance that health complication is shared with the victim incites pain and depression, but most importantly the fighting spirit would be activated by quest to survive sets in and such individual starts taking health seriously finding opportunity to bring about solution and great solace to the health.

Evidently, in this I'm saying do not deceptively hide the truth from anyone and most importantly when it comes to health matter it is a matter if urgency and that truth told would definitely be a doorway to solution. In a scenario where the truth about health issues are hidden, the victim goes ahead doing what he or she has been doing, no regulation in...say dieting or activities to tackle the issue and to me is more wickedness! Therefore, for the safety of all, the truth should be evidently told at all times and most importantly in cases of health complication.
