Esoteric Community 1UP-Date – Week Two Winners and Some Tweaks To The Rules!

The 1UP #esoteric community airdrop continues, with some awesome entries to the contests in week 2!

Our intention is to build and support a thriving community of esoteric content creators on the STEEM blockchain.

Through using the #esoteric tag, their content will be easy to find by anyone with an interest in the many subjects that can fit under that umbrella. They will also benefit from being part of a 1UP starting community.

UPTOKEN AIRDROP CONTEST UPDATE

We are airdropping ONE MILLION UP Tokens to esoteric creators over ten weeks!

The contests will remain the same each week. Each week period runs from Monday until Sunday inclusive.

The winners are announced each week. The day of the announcement might vary slightly, due to my other time commitments. However, the contest weeks will always run from Monday to Sunday, until the end of week 10, which is 3rd December 2018.

We are currently in week 3.

THE MOST IMPORTANT UPDATE TO THE RULES IS THAT YOU NEED TO RESTEEM THIS POST, OR AN UPCOMING UPDATE TO ENTER FROM NOW ON!

This is because we are very keen to get the word out far and wide. This will build an interesting and diverse hub of esoteric content creators on the platform!

Upvotes are welcomed, of course, but not essential to enter!

Here are the rules of the three contests:

1. Weekly Esoteric Content Contest – 50,000 UP tokens per week

Your written, video and audio content, tagged #esoteric will be eligible to win the following weekly prizes, for 10 weeks:

1st Prize – 25,000 UP tokens, 2nd Prize – 15,000 UP tokens, 3rd Prize – 10,000 UP tokens

Any content with an esoteric theme will be considered. We will be judging based on originality, interest, well cited sourcing and use of images that add to the post quality.

If appropriate, you can include the following in your title:

Esoteric Content Contest (1UP Fundraiser)

This is preferred but not essential to enter.

You should include the tags #esoteric and #uptoken and include the following text at the end of the post to link to our fundraising campaign on the STEEM based Fundition platform:

2. Weekly Esoteric Graphics and Memes Contest– 30,000 UP tokens per week

Put your creative hat on and let’s see your #esoteric memes, infographics etc. The following weekly prizes will be available for 10 weeks:

1st Prize – 15,000 UP tokens, 2nd Prize – 10,000 UP tokens, 3rd Prize – 5,000 Up tokens

To qualify, your graphic should include the words esoteric and 1UP. We will be looking for originality, an understandable message, featuring 1UP and #esoteric hashtag and humour.

Please include the following in your title:

Your entry should be tagged #esoteric, #uptoken and #graphicscontest and include the following text at the end of the post to link to the Fundition campaign:

3. The Esoteric and Visionary Art Contest (10 Weeks!)

This is an opportunity for you to showcase your artistic talent. Either share existing work or create a beautiful piece specifically for the contest!

This contest is running for the entire 10 week period. The winners will be announced on, or shortly after 3rd December 2018.

The following prizes are available:

1st Prize – 100,000 UP Tokens, 2nd Prize – 60,000 UP Tokens, 3rd Prize – 40,000 UP Tokens

All artistic forms are acceptable. For example, photograph, sculpture and animation can be entered, so long as it fits in with the esoteric/visionary theme.

Please include the following in your title:

Please also include a short description of the piece and what it represents. You can enter multiple times over the 10 weeks.
