🏵️THE DIARY GAME 🏵️

Today was a different day compared to other days.From today, our assessment exams have started.

Since there was an exam in the morning, I woke up very early. I revised everything I had been studying for the exam. While studying, I noticed it was time for the Fajr prayer, so I went to pray. After returning from prayer, I saw that there was still plenty of time before I had to leave for college. So I sat down at my desk to study again. After studying for a while, I took a shower and got ready to leave for college. As I was about to leave home using the lift, I noticed my reflection in the mirror-like lift door and took a photo with my phone. Our building’s lift is quite old and has many spots on it, which is why the photos taken in it aren’t very clear compared to other mirrors.

After getting out of the lift, I walked for two minutes to catch my college bus.After two minutes, I saw that the college bus was parked at its designated spot. Our college bus usually gets very crowded. However, the spot from where I board is the first stop, so when I got on, there were only two or three people on the bus. One advantage of taking the college bus is that I don’t have to worry about when to get off. I always sit at the back of the bus and sleep the whole way to college. It’s fun to travel with classmates in the college bus. But traveling this way on a public bus would be quite difficult.

After getting off the college bus and reaching the campus, I saw everyone was busy with studies. After a long time, we were going to sit for an exam again, and it felt interesting to everyone.

Then I sat at the campus’s open stage area and started studying for a while. We all discussed different questions together. Shortly afterward, the exam hall gate was opened. When it opened, I went inside and sat down. One of the girls from our class called me and asked me to save a seat for her because she would be late. So I went to a nearby classroom and took a few photos of the seats to show her where I could save her a spot. She then told me to save her a seat by the window. As she requested, I kept a window-side seat reserved for her.

After that, our exam continued from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.It had been a long time since I had taken a three-hour-long exam. The last time I had such a long exam was about two years ago during my Intermediate (HSC) exams. Since then, the exams have been shorter in length. That’s because admission tests are usually just one hour long and are in MCQ format.

This exam felt quite easy because the questions came directly from the topics that ma’am had marked for us to study at home. That’s why I didn’t face any difficulty while writing. I was able to complete the exam smoothly within the three-hour time limit.After writing continuously for such a long time, I noticed marks on my hand.And this was the first time in my honors life that I sat for such a long exam.

After the exam, we went near the open stage (Muktomoncho). There, we started calculating and managing some of our tasks. A few days ago, we had taken up a big departmental project—making jerseys. The full responsibility, including managing the funds (around one thousand), was taken by Abir and Ishan. With their cooperation, we were able to collect the money smoothly.

Once the money collection was done, we started planning to visit the jersey factory today. After spending a little more time at college post-exam, we left for the jersey shop. The roads were heavily jammed, so the three of us decided to take the metro rail.

After getting off at the Secretariat station, we walked a short distance to reach Gulistan. We had collected an address from one of our classmates. According to that address, we went to check out the jersey fabric. Their fabric seemed reasonably good, but the price was too high, so we left to explore a few more shops. At one particular shop, we really liked what they offered, so we started negotiating. Eventually, we finalized the deal with them.

After finalizing the contract, Abir and Ishan started preparing the jersey list. While making the list, we saw that there were already around 70 names.

There was some confusion regarding the sizes, so I personally tried on a jersey to see if the size would fit me properly. After wearing it, I realized the size I usually wear was perfect. Then I called a few others to confirm their sizes and prepared the list nicely before we left. By the time we came out of there, it was already evening.

This is the first time I’m taking such a big responsibility for an event on my own. I sincerely pray to Allah that the program becomes a success.

By the time I got home, it was evening. After returning, I had dinner.And that’s how this very busy day came to an end.
