Greetings, Dear Steemains,

How are you all? I hope you are all well by the grace of Allah.
Today is 04-04-25, Friday. Today, I am traveling from the capital Dhaka to Comilla and visited the famous Buddhist monastery, Golden Temple, Lalmai Hills, and the British cemetery in Comilla with my two Steemian friends. In today's diary, I am going to present some of its notable events. I hope you will like today's travel diary.

It is 5.30 am. I wake up. First, I perform ablution and pray the Fajr prayer. Then I take a bath. Today, I will leave for a trip with my two Steemian friends. I got ready and left home. Me and my Steemian friend @Sojib1996 boarded the bus from Dhaka to Comilla. Since it was just after Eid, we found the road empty. Our bus was moving at a fast speed.

At 10 am, we reached the Courtbari area of Comilla. From there, another Steemian friend @Mahadisalim joined us. The three of us started our journey. But we had not had breakfast yet. So, we entered a beautiful restaurant. We finished our breakfast with hot khichuri and biryani there.

We first entered the famous Buddhist monastery of Comilla. This is a historical place. This area is protected under the Department of Archaeology. A ticket is required to enter here.

We entered inside after buying a ticket. Shalban Vihar covers a vast area. Earlier, this place was known as Shalban Raja Bari. There was a temple in the middle of the monastery. There are about 115 monk rooms around. Now there is no trace of the temple in the land. Only a high ground can be found.

Although the priceless treasures of national architecture are gradually being lost, we are also making various efforts to save our lost national treasures. I tour the entire Shalban Vihara, expressing my heartfelt congratulations to those who are protecting this priceless place. Many more visitors like me have come to visit this monastery. I visit the various rooms and gain self-satisfaction.

It is around noon.Next to the Shalban Vihar is the New Shalban Buddhist Vihar. This time my friends and I entered the New Shalban Vihar. We also had to buy a ticket to enter here. We entered inside after buying a ticket for 30 taka. Seeing the view inside, our mind was filled with peace. There is a peaceful atmosphere.

This is a place dedicated to the memory of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. Here, Buddhism There are several statues of Gautam Buddha made of metal. The largest statue of Gautam Buddha was given as a gift by the Government of Thailand. It is thirty feet high and weighs 6 tons. There are also several other statues of Buddha, all of which are made of beautiful metal. There is also a footprint of Buddha here. We went around and saw everything here, including the prayer place, the guest house, and the open field. I walked around with my friends and left there.

There is still a lot to see in Comilla City. So without wasting time, we rented a car and set off to visit Lalmail Hill. At one end of Lalmail Hill, on the hill, there is a shrine of a devotee of Allah. The place is called Adinamura. We took the car and set off towards Adinamura. Our car moved forward at full speed. There are hills on both sides of the road. We kept moving forward to see them. In front of the Adinamura shrine gate,

There is a mazar on the hill. There are small steps to climb the hill. We climbed the hill by climbing the circular stairs. We visited the shrine, Then we went around the hill and looked at the houses. The hill is covered with countless trees. We also saw some people living at the foot of the hill. I found it. The area can be said to be almost deserted. I was surprised to see some people living there. The picture of nature far away from the mountains captivated me. To be honest, this is the first time I am standing on a mountain and seeing the beauty of nature. I was excited.
After visiting the mountains until 4 pm, we left again to see another place. We left again by car. This time our destination was to visit the cemetery of British soldiers who were killed in this country during 2nd World War. We entered the cemetery at 5.30 pm. There are hundreds of soldiers' graves all around. Each grave has the names of the dead soldiers. Every effort has been made to make the place a haven of beauty. Flower gardens all around, a clean and tidy environment. Here too, we visited the cemetery with hundreds of visitors and had a new experience. The cemetery closed at 6 pm. Before we could see the entire cemetery, a siren sounded to inform us that today's time was over. We came out with some regret.

I came to Comilla but I can't eat the famous Roshmalai of Comilla. So, I left for a shop called Matri Bhandar located in Manoharpur of Comilla city. Although there are many Matri bhandar in Comilla, they were the first to start making the famous Roshmalai. After reaching there, I saw people waiting in a long line to buy Rosh Malai. This was also my first experience. I have never had to wait in line to buy Rosh Malai. Today I am the first to buy Rosh malai in the line.

Now I reach the bus station to return to Dhaka. There I buy a ticket for Asia Transport. Our car leaves at 7.45 pm. I reach home at 11 pm, avoiding the traffic jam. I end a successful trip here with a new experience.
