Mactan-Cebu Ferry Terminal, Lapu-lapu

Hello fellow steemian, friends and folk

Lapu-lapu City has two types of transportations and inorder to reach Cebu mainland, one is traveling by PUJ's in land which passing through the three Mactan Bridge and the other is by sea which crossing to the Mactan Channel.

By the seas, in fact, it is run by ferries, these are boat or small ship that transport passengers, and occasionally vehicles and cargo, across a big body of water and one of these is the Mactan Channel.

It is also a form of public transport systems of a waterside cities, and one of these cities are particularly the highly-urbanized city of Cebu, and to the neghboring island of Lapu-lapu which is also an another urbanized city.

Which allowing residents a direct transit between the two big cities at a lesser fare cost, with a normal travel, convenient and fastest way to get from the city of Cebu to the city of Lapu-lapu back and forth.

So by then, this is what I've been featuring today, the Lapu-lapu City Ferry Terminal or commonly known as Mactan-Cebu Ferry Terminal.

Terminal Facade

Lapu-lapu City Ferry Terminal or Mactan-Cebu Ferry Terminal - it is a ferry boat terminal which located in Muelle Osmeña Port, Poblacion, Lapu-lapu City. In fact, it is a great way to escape from the usual traffic going to the neighboring city of Cebu, Mandaue and of course to Cebu mainland.

Departure Passage

Inwhich the terminal provides a separate hallway for aboard passengers or passengers who depart and going to the ticketing booth for ticket issuance.

Arrival Passage

And a separate passage for arriving passengers, which it is wide, spacious and enough to accommodate for arrived passengers.

Watch Tower

A watch tower also placed infront of the seaport, which it is made of Mactan marble stones.

Entrance Road

The entrance has a narrow road and it is wide enough for all type of vehicles, which it is also the most important which vehicles can pass easily.

Parking Space

There was also a designated parking space beside the terminal which intended for four-wheel vehicles and motorcycle, in fact, it is an open space parking area and it is free, even big truck and buses are welcome to cater.

Metro Ferry

And it is operated by Metro Ferry Inc., it is one of the biggest ferry operators in Cebu, which operates their ferry boats coming from Cebu Pier 3 area, one of the biggest and busiest domestic seaport in Cebu City going to Muelle Osmeña Port in Lapu-lapu City. Where the distance between Cebu Pier 3 and Lapu-Lapu City, in my estimate it is more or less 5 kilometer.

The Metro Ferry Inc., has its ticketing booth near the ferries terminal, with an affordable ticket cost of 4.5 steem one way trip.

Inwhich facilitating its travel time departure and arrival schedules at every an hour and take 20 minutes travel time including transfer.

Cebu to Lapu-lapu Route:

Metro Ferry

Which ferries are in fair and good condition, which you can experienced the fresh cool ocean air, positive vibes, and a nice journey experiencing the views of the cities pride.

Marker

There is also a greetings marker that is visible for passengers who wants to have a ride a ferry or passengers which about to leave Lapu-lapu City, which it is placed before entering the said passengers hallway.

National Shrine Rear View

And if you really wants to visit the Virgin de Regla Parish-National Shrine in Lapu-lapu and you were in Cebu City. Will I do and my suggestions, much better if you always ride the ferry because it is very convenient, fast and can be able to experience an exciting trip. I'm telling you, you can take a ferry boat from Pier 3 to Lapu-Lapu.
