A few days ago I went to this place called Dhaka Tongi. One of the main ways to move vehicles faster and easier in modern urban development is the elevated expressway. It is an elevated road system that is built above the ordinary road and provides free movement of vehicles. Traffic congestion is a big problem in cities of developing countries and the elevated expressway plays a very effective role in solving that problem.

The main feature of the elevated expressway is that it runs over the busy roads of the city, due to which there is no possibility of any collision with the vehicles on the road below. It saves time, reduces fuel consumption and also increases efficiency. Every day, millions of people use this expressway to reach their destinations for office, business or other urgent work.

In the context of Bangladesh, the elevated expressway of Dhaka is a groundbreaking project. It has given a new dimension to the capital Dhaka. With the launch of the elevated expressway from the airport to Motijheel via Kakoli, Tejgaon, Moghbazar, reaching the destination within the city has become much easier. As well as bringing relief to drivers, the common people are also benefiting.

In addition, economic development has also been accelerated through this road system. The transportation of goods is now possible faster and safer than before. Business and trade are expanding because time wastage has reduced. Tourists are also benefiting from this expressway by getting the convenience of fast travel.

The elevated expressway has also added a different dimension to the beauty of the city. At night, this elevated road, which is a symbol of the city's modernity and technological progress, shines brightly with the lights. The areas below this road are now being used in a planned manner for parking, shops or public use.
