my night routine

Friday night is always a time that I look forward to. After a week full of activities and daily hustle and bustle, tonight I return to my routine that not only calms my heart, but also strengthens togetherness with fellow residents. I attend the regular Friday night religious study, a simple but meaningful activity held at our village religious study hall.

The recitation begins after dawn, filled with reading verses from the holy Koran, dhikr and religious lectures delivered by our local teachers. Tonight we discussed the importance of guarding your words and spreading kindness in everyday life. The atmosphere was warm but still full of friendliness. Sitting together in one assembly, sharing knowledge and advice, makes my heart feel calmer and more spacious. I feel that time like this is the best form of rest, not only for the body but also for the soul.

After the religious study and the Isha prayer in congregation, I decided to stop by for a while at my favorite coffee shop, where I usually hang out with some friends. This shop looks simple, but it is always crowded with warm chats that lighten the atmosphere. I ordered cold milk coffee, a favorite drink that always manages to refresh my mind after a full day of activities. Its sweet and smooth taste, with a distinctive coffee aroma, is the perfect companion for spending the night with friends.

We sat relaxed, chatting lightly about daily life, work and occasionally discussing hot topics that were being widely discussed. Small laughter and jokes made mom feel so friendly. Although simple, time with friends in a coffee shop like this has its own value and a place to share stories, listen and just laugh together.

This Friday night was truly complete and the heart-soothing religious study and the mind-refreshing coffee, both became part of a routine that I am very grateful for. May the following nights continue to be filled with good things like this, knowledge, friendship and serenity.
