Today is a meaningful day for me and my fellow village youth. In the evening we took the initiative to visit our teacher who is currently being treated in the hospital. He is a figure who has been very instrumental in educating us since childhood, both in general lessons and religious knowledge. Upon arrival at the hospital, we were warmly welcomed by his family. Even though his health condition was declining, his face still radiated calm and happiness for our visit.

We send our prayers and encouragement to him so that he recovers soon and can return to his normal activities🤲. The moment felt touching and warm, because we could show our care and respect for someone who has done a lot in our lives. Several residents also joined the group, showing the strong value of togetherness in our village.

After visiting, we continued our activities to the neighboring village to attend the tahlilan event. Together with other residents, we sat cross-legged in the hall, following the reading of the Yasin letter and praying together for the deceased who had passed away. The atmosphere of the tahlilan felt solemn and full of reverence. The reading of the holy verses of the Qur'an echoed softly, accompanied by the hope that the deceased's good deeds would be accepted by Allah SWT and the family left behind would be given fortitude.

In the event, we also greeted each other and shared stories, establishing relationships between residents who may not have met for a long time. This is one of the noble values of the tahlilan culture that is still very well preserved in our village, and is a place to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and at the same time pray for those who have passed away.

Today really feels dense, but full of values and meanings of togetherness. Visiting the sick and attending tahlilan is not only a social routine, but also a form of worship and a sign that the values of caring and mutual cooperation are still very much alive in our society.
