Today is a special day because I had the opportunity to help prepare the menu for breaking the fast at Menasah with the villagers. Since the afternoon, the atmosphere in the Menasah kitchen has been bustling with cooking activities. The residents work together enthusiastically, creating a warm atmosphere of togetherness.

I took part in the process of cooking goat curry, one of the main dishes for breaking the fast at Menasah this afternoon. The distinctive aroma of spices began to strengthen from the large cauldron when the pieces of goat meat were put into the rich broth. We continued to stir it patiently, making sure the spices were perfectly absorbed and the meat became tender. Meanwhile, other residents were busy cooking rice in large quantities, so that there would be enough for everyone who came to break the fast later.

After the food is cooked, we start wrapping the rice in balanced portions, adding savory goat curry inside the package. Each package is neatly arranged, ready to be taken to the village hall where residents will gather to break their fast together.

Upon arrival at the village hall, we arranged the dishes orderly, making sure everything was ready before the call to prayer sounded. Residents began to arrive with faces full of enthusiasm. When the call to prayer sounded, we all prayed together before eating the dishes that had been prepared with full cooperation and sincerity.
