Lifestyle The Diary Game || Attending Regular Religious Studies with
Tonight is one of the most blessed nights for me. After completing my daily activities, I took the time to attend the regular religious study held at the village mosque. This activity has become a weekly agenda that I have been looking forward to, because in addition to increasing my religious knowledge, it also strengthens the relationship with other congregations.
I started this evening with Maghrib prayers in congregation with the residents in the mosque. The atmosphere of the mosque felt solemn and my heart felt calm when the voice of the imam recited the holy verses of the Quran. After the prayer, the activity continued with religious studies and religious sermons delivered by the ustadz. This evening he delivered messages about the importance of maintaining the five daily prayers, improving morals and always trying to be a person who is useful to others.
I listened attentively, because every sentence delivered really touched my heart and was a reminder to continue to improve myself. The recitation lasted about an hour, surrounded by casual questions and answers between the ustadz and the congregation present. There were many new things that I learned tonight, especially about the importance of maintaining patience and sincerity in living everyday life.
After the recitation was finished, we continued with the Isha prayer in congregation. Although it was raining outside, the atmosphere inside the mosque remained warm and peaceful. After all the series of worship were finished, I said goodbye and decided to go home immediately
The journey home tonight felt different because it was raining heavily. Even so, I am still grateful to be able to attend the pengajian activity tonight. When I arrived home, I rested with a calm and grateful heart.
Tonight is proof that in the midst of busyness and pouring rain, there is still room to get closer to Allah SWT, increase knowledge and improve ourselves little by little. Hopefully, this small step will continue to be part of a better life journey.
