A productive day can be full of activities all day long

Today I feel so excited and full of joy because I can do activities and work with my brother in one of the important locations for the village community, namely the irrigation water pump house located near the river. This work is not just an ordinary routine, but has a big purpose and has a direct impact on farmers in our village, especially in facing the long dry season like now.

We started the work since morning, bringing welding equipment and other supporting equipment to the location. Today we focus on the welding stage of the water pipe connections, which are an important part of the irrigation system. The large pipes that will channel water from the river to the residents' agricultural land must be connected and reinforced with welding techniques so that they are durable and do not leak.

One of the biggest challenges today was that we had to dig a hole under the pipe first. This was done so that the welding process could be done from below, because some parts of the pipe were quite close to the ground and needed wider access. Although this work was quite tiring and required a lot of energy, I felt very happy and proud to be directly involved in this important process.

Although the work was not fully completed until the afternoon, the achievements we made today were quite satisfactory. Several main joints have been successfully welded and reinforced. We plan to continue this work the next day until the water pump system can really function optimally.

What makes me happiest is realizing that the water that is sucked through this pipe will later be used to irrigate the rice fields of our villagers. In the midst of a long dry season, the existence of water is crucial so that farmers can continue to plant rice and maintain food security in our village.

Today is not only about working hard, but also about real contribution to society. I am grateful to be directly involved in such a useful activity. Hopefully what we do today will be a blessing and provide great benefits for the villagers who depend on agriculture for their livelihood.
