Marina Resort, Batmans Bay, NSW, Australia

Actually our long weekend had already started on Thursday evening but we had a couple of programs for this Easter Friday but as we had planned, we went to Marina Resort at Batemans Bay at the weekend on Sunday and stayed there overnight.

One of my friends agreed to come with us with his two kids, so we booked our stay at Marina Resort.

Marina Resort is located on the South Coast of NSW and is a favorite place of ours, as we have developed a beautiful bond with the sea and its spectacular views.

We left Canberra at about 2 and reached here at about 4 pm on 20th April and parked our cars outside our villa.

We have actually been to Batemans Bay many times, but this was the first time we stayed at Marina Resort, and I think Marina Resort is absolutely perfect in Batemans Bay. I love the beaches of this area and the facility of water sports both along the coast and the Clyde River is simply amazing.

I loved the way this Thai food truck was parked and the sitting arrangement:

We walked to Corrigan Beach in just a 5-minute in fact it's visible from our rooms .

Also, the resort is right next to the Catalina Country Golf Club and Bistro.

If anyone has time, Eurobodalla Botanical Garden is also about a 10-minute drive away, and Mogo Wildlife Park is also about a 15-minute drive away.

The Marina Resort has its own swimming pool where people enjoy swimming all the time.

The resort has its own tennis courts where you can play anytime, day or night.

And the children have been taken care of in this resort, where they entertain themselves for hours in the playground and are not ready to leave.

There is such a good arrangement of mini golf where you can enjoy it with the whole family.

There is no park or picnic spot in Australia where a BBQ is not arranged. So in Marina Resort, you can always see visitors enjoying BBQ with friends.

Here, whether small or big, you will be seen enjoying pool, table tennis, and air hockey. Laundry Facilities

Batemans Bay attractions

We have been here in the town center of Batemans Bay several times and know that we have several shops and supermarkets, but being originally from India, we bring raw and cooked food from home and cook here.

We go to the local cafes and restaurants besides several food trucks lined up in the close vicinity.

We have visited Batemans Bay from Sydney, and now that we live in Canberra, it's closer at about a 2-hour drive.

But people coming from far-off places, the place is just 20 minutes away from Moruya Airport, connected with different Australian cities like Canberra, Sydney, and Melbourne.

Let me add that during my last tenures in Australia, we have stayed and held our official meetings in Batman's Bay but never in Marina Resort. Maybe we shall consider this resort for our next business meeting in the month of June this year.

Actually, once I was invited to join a meeting by one of our clients for a business meeting, but I missed that chance for a personal reason.

But I found they have a beautiful boardroom that can cater for up to 200 people in this resort with great function rooms and catering services for large gatherings and events.

We originally booked for two day but came back in one day
It cost us AU$600 Apx US$400 or about 2500 Steem

They offer blackjack-themed nights and trivia nights or bocce tournaments, golf, or beach volleyball. In fact, you name it, and they have it.

They boast of organizing catering for all our events with a variety of options to suit all tastes and budgets.

Actually, as a mountain biking lover, I love the thrill of the Mogo Trails, where you will find natural beauty around lush green forests, as these trails cater to my skill level as a beginner in this form of biking.

We had our lunch at Foodmandu Restaurant & Bar and started back for home at about 3 PM.
