DZUKOU VALLEY NAGALAND Tour (August 13- 17) 📷 :)
I have heard a lot about those sisters from India since childhood. Especially after watching the Indian cult movie "Leelakasam", the desire to go to Nagaland became more intense.
So this time on Eid holiday I went with 9 friends to NAGALAND, the most exceptional state in India. Although Nagaland is famous for their Hornbill Festival, it is one of the attractions of Dzukou Valley and NAGALAND.
Before Day to Day Analysis, I will talk about the environment of Nagaland and DZUKOU VALLEY. Nagaland is called the "First Green Village Of India". They are very careful about their environment and cleanliness, so try not to throw plastic polythene or bottles on the street. Not just plastic polythene or bottles, don't throw any kind of garbage on the roadside.
DZUKOU VALLEY is a NO PLASTIC AREA. Ban any plastic thing in this valley.
At the beginning of DZUKOU VALLEY tracking, you need to start tracking by depositing plastic polythene, bottles, bags etc. at the reception counter. So understand that they will check the bag you have and they will keep track of how many bottles of water you are taking (since you can't track without water and some food in the tracking) before you get up. It will tell you to return with all kinds of plastic polythene, bottles, bags you have with you and if not, you will be fined Rs. 200 per bag / bottle. Your "signature" will be kept in the registry and then you will be allowed tracking. So it is very important to keep these issues in mind.
Now come to Day to Day Analysis,
Day1 (13th August)
The road from Dhaka to Kohima is not easy at all. It will take a long time and a long journey. We left for Agartala, India at 9 am on the 13th at HIACE. I reached Agartala a little before 12 noon. It takes us 5 hours to clear immigration there. There was a lot of pressure from people during Eid. We reached Agartala town around 5 pm. I get up at 1 hotel there, freshen up and go out at night for dinner.
Day 2 (14th August)
Breakfast is not good at first. Our plane was sightseeing until noon, but it rained so it went to heaven. We then went straight to the airport after breakfast. Our 2:40 m flight was AGARTALA- GUWAHATI.
We arrived at GUWAHATI at 4 pm, but it was 7 pm when we finished our formalities at the airport. We arrive at GUWAHATI Railway Station directly from the airport
Let's go. From there, tickets for NAGALAND EXPRESS at 11 pm have not been canceled. At 11 pm our train left for NAGALAND.
DAY-3 (15th August)
The most beautiful and exciting day of the tour. We arrived at NAGALAND at 5am. We did not have breakfast at a hotel near the railway station. Then we don't have ILP (Inner Line Permit) from Nagaland Police. I rented a 9 seater jeep and left for KOHIMA. 5 hour journey. It was the most beautiful and enjoyable journey of my life. The beauty of KOHIMA is bound to amaze anyone. We reached KOHIMA at 3 pm. DZUKOU VALLEY, some distance from KOHIMA, we reached DZUKOU VALLEY in the same jeep. Then let's start (around 4) the much awaited DZUKOU VALLEY tracking. After 6 hours of trekking, we reached the valley just before 10 pm. Dinner is not good there and sleep, so that the sunrise is not missed in any way.
DAY-4 (16th August)
The most beautiful morning of life was the morning of 17th August. SUNRISE of DZUKOU VALLEY will fascinate you. Horrible beautiful morning DZUKOU VALLEY. We trek a little farther and get closer to the valley. We reached the valley by trekking 1 more hour from our dorm. We are not ready to go out after trekking after breakfast. It takes us about 5 hours to trek down. We start trekking at 11 in the morning, our bell rings around 4 in the afternoon. We did not take a jeep to go to Dimapur station. Once again, that amazing 5 hour jeep journey. At 9 pm we reached Dimapur station, and the ticket for Banglaore Express was not canceled. Our train leaves at 12 o'clock at night for GUWAHATI.
DAY-5 (17th August)
At 5 in the morning we reached GUWAHATI. After breakfast we arrive at GUWAHAT Airport to catch our 10 o'clock flight.
At the end of the GUWAHATI-AGARTALA flight we did some shopping from AGARTALA at noon, for everyone’s family. I crossed Agartala Immigration after some time in the evening. Then we take a Dhaka-bound bus from Brakshanbaria to our homes.
