RE: De-Spinning the Spin - The real truth
Well this WALL OF TEXT looks more like a cut and paste SPAM complaint than an actual reply by someone who wants to talk. My guess is that IS the reason you keep getting downvoted.
Put your Wall of Text complaint into a post then link back to that post in your thoughtful and respectful yet disagreeing reply. You might get a response and a upvote.
I disagree with you about the over the top censorship. I have gone out of my way to read hidden posts and hidden comments like this one. I have yet to find one that shouldn't be hidden because its just another copy n paste wall of SPAM, an advertisement or some other form of abuse..
That said, I disagreed with downvoting something because you simply disagree or believe is wrong. I don't agree with those downvotes at all.
If you look back through my history you will see that when I disagree with someone I don't downvote them, I reply with a polite and hopefully well stated counterargument. Sometimes if the conversation is good I even upvote the people I disagree with.
In my opinion "Downvotes" should only be used to fight SPAM and other abuses of this platform.
Downvoting should NOT be used for disagreements. That's what conversation is for.
